Demystifying Antimicrobials Webinar Series—Certified Labs Deliver Better Results

IAC Webinar May 4, 2016 12:00 Noon EST

Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, MI—According to the IAC, variation in antimicrobial test results is a concern for manufacturers and retailers of odor control apparel and textile products. Says Jim Krueger, the IAC’s Managing Director, “Brands and retailers tell us that measuring odor control performance has been inconsistent and confusing. Results from one lab may not be comparable to another lab, even when they are using the same test method on identical samples. These discrepancies can impact adoption time frames, raise doubts about product claims, and cause regulatory compliance concerns.”

This Webinar describes why the IAC Laboratory Certification Program is so important and why the IAC Test Verification Program is such an important aspect of Certified Laboratories. “By facilitating more test method consistency within testing laboratories, brands and retailers can have greater confidence in the test reports they receive to determine the performance of antimicrobial and odor control technologies,” states Bob Monticello, IAC Chief Scientific Adviser, who presents the webinar. “Plus, the IAC Certified Laboratory Program helps manufacturers and retailers easily identify high quality testing facilities.”
