Modified Standards
The IAC Test Verification Program utilizes modified testing standards and protocols established by AATCC, ASTM, ISO and JIS. The modifications greatly improve the reproducibility of test results and the comparability of data across all of the IAC-certified labs.
Advisory Board
Independent scientists and technical advisors who serve on the AATCC, ASTM and ISO committees also provide technical input and protocol reviews for this program. Ensuring that the program adheres to the highest standards of accuracy and credibility.

Protocol Updates
IAC-Cerified Laboratory Members receive testing protocol updates, immediately upon release. These members are also eligible to participate in semi-annual measurement reviews and cross-laboratory studies.

Our Test Verification Program is a recognized mark of trust for many brands, retailers, and mills. It is proof that the treated article achieves the indicated performance requirements, which is based on the treated sample sent for testing.
How It Works
Step-by-Step Process
Submit Test Request
A test request form and sample are submitted to an IAC-Certified Testing Laboratory.
Request IAC-Verified Test Report
Your test request must indicate the requirement for an IAC-Verified Test Report.
IAC-Certified Lab Conducts Testing
The IAC-Certified Lab will conduct testing in accordance with the IAC-modified testing standard.
Test Results Certification
The IAC-Certified Lab will submit steps conducted during testing along with test results.
Approval and Verification Number
Once the steps taken in testing and test results are certified, the IAC will provide the IAC-Certified Lab with a verification number.
Receiving Your Test Results
The IAC-Certified Lab will now provide you with the test report that will include the unique IAC Verification Number that is connected to your test report.
